\J	The mystery of Blue Barn Stables is a typical horse book.
On top of all that it has the worst case of "happy ending syndrome" I
have ever come across! It is badly written, the good guys have absolutely
no faults, and the bad guys have no virtues, the plot is old.
Sue (our heroine) is left to manage her father's stables while
he is at a horse show. He has a heart attack and has to go away
with her mother to recuperate. Various things happen making Sue look
careless. For example horses getting loose after she put them away, a horse
she was in charge of (supposed to win a championship which would give
Blue Barn the trophy permanently) is drugged.
It turns out that this family friend (Terri) thinks that the
trainer (Bart) is falling in love with Sue. So she tries to make Sue
look irresponsible so she could marry Bart. But this is found out and
Bart marries Sue. The horse wins the perpetual trophy and everything
is fine and dandy. BLAAAAH.\.
